"What's the hardest you've ever been hit?"
I have S4 of Elementary on DVD and it is weird knowing that Sherlock's dad is not actually evil and so I'm like "...wait, he really did do that out of love?" now. I'm only two episodes into rewatching but so far my mind is confused about that. HE JUST SEEMED RLY EVIL OKAY??
There was a thing about Xmas Who but I am not really that interested because last year's was THE BEST and nothing can beat it, even though it probably wasn't that good and I am just blinded by River Song yet again? But like there's that Casting Spoiler that nobody can bring themselves to care about because rly who even remembered that character's name by the end? MAYBE I AM WRONG AND IT WILL ALL BE MARVELLOUS.
Relatedly I am a bit eyeroll at Big Finish for River meeting earlier Doctors because while yes that could be fun it does seem to run completely counter to what was going on in Silence in the Library where she'd never seen him that young and was emotional because of it. This doesn't strike me as being as dreadful as "Five and Peri had EIGHTEEN MILLION adventures together before he nobly sacrificed himself to save a woman he... knew quite well actually, what with the eighteen million adventures." BUT it is possible I am just bitter about being unable to follow audio things without literally falling asleep. And Scherzo, I am still bitter about Scherzo and I am not ashamed of that particular rage. BUT ANYWAY.
I miss the EDAs, those were such wank times. Rememeber how he was never allowed to remember anything, because Fuck You, Fandom, That's Why? We can laugh about it now but oh dearie me. And a certain someone on the OG said fandom hated "the tall poppies" for being better than us whereas no it's just that some of those poppies were wanky as all hell and deserved our scorn.
