continuation!
I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations to remove the US from the Human Rights Commission.
I-freakin'-raq under Saddam Hussein (a man known for torturing and murdering his own people, and encouraging suicide bombers against other people), was being considered for a seat (or perhaps had already received it) on the U.N.'s Human Rights Commission. That is reason enough to completely prove the absolute illigitimacy of said Commission, and that the U.S. being involved with it would be nothing more than participating in a farce.
I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board.
A bunch of non-elected dictators voting to remove the US from an "Election" ANYTHING board is a joke. Boo-hoo.
I removed more checks and balances and have the least congressional oversight of any presidential administration in US history.
Alex, I'll take "Unfounded, Vague Conspiracy Theories for 1000, please!"
I renderd the entire United Nations irrelevant.
No, they rendered themselves irrelevant. I simply pointed it out.
I withdrew from the World Court Of Law.
A. There is no such thing as International Law, only treaties. The World Court of Law is a joke.
B. It is against the US's interests to participate, so it was the correct thing to do.
I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.
The Geneva Convention is a treaty, one which our opponent does not follow. When one side doesn't follow a treaty, the other is not obligated either legally (as they never are) or morally to follow the same said treaty.
I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations elections inspectors access during the 2002 elections.
The U.N. has no right or business (but a whole heapin' helpin' of WANTING) to interfere with or observe US elections.
I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for the most corporate campaign donations.
Yay for me! I do it better even than the #2 guy, Bill Clinton.
The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of EnronCorporation)
I have also distanced myself from him since the discovery of his fraud. Do you not have a friend or family member that has been caught doing something illegal and/or immoral? Pretty much all of us do. When what they have done is particularly abhorrent, we distance ourselves from that person, and they cease being a friend.
I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history.
Most likely because I did such an excellent job raising a ton of money for just such a purpose. Look at me go!
I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1).
Alex, I'll take "Unfounded, Vague Conspiracy Theories for 10,000, please! Yes, you heard me! TEN THOUSAND!"
I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.
"A MILLION! A BILLION! GIMME IT ALL, ALEX, YOU FREAKY-HAIRED CANUCK!"
I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).
Let me re-state that world opinion is not even a secondary or tertiary goal of my actions. The interest of the US trumps what the world thinks of those interests every single time.
I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stabilty.
See #40.
I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
...and the same people who argue against these policies will be the first people to argue that prison should be more for rehabilitation than punishment.
I set the all-time record for the number of administration appointees who violated US laws by not selling their huge investments in corporations that later made bids for gov. contracts.
Documentation to back this up, please? Given that all financial records of elected and appointed officials are public knowledge, I'm sure you'll have no problem whatsoever in proving this claim......
I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.
Only if you define "freedoms and civil liberties" the same way that the ACLU does, which is to say, anything that we agree with, and nothing that we disagree with.
I have created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided that the US has been since the Civil War.
Only because the media is portraying a completely inaccurate depiction of both the economy and the war in Iraq. Doom and Gloom sells better than truthful optimism, and journalistic integrity is a thing of the past.
I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.
Entirely untrue. I entered office with an economy already in a depression, which was then compounded by 9/11 as stated above. I presided over one of the shortest major recessions in history, and all of those same economic categories have been on the upswing for well over a year, proving that my economic policies are working.
I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available).
Yeah, but at least I didn't drown Mary Jo Kopechne while I was at it. Dumb 20 and 30 year olds do dumb things. I learned from my mistake and haven't driven drunk in 3 decades or so. Other powerful politicians took well into their golden years to learn from thiers.
I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during time of war. I refused to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.
Unsubstantiated.
All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my father's library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records of any SEC investigation into my insider trading or bankrupted companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.
Alex? Are you still there, Alex?
All minutes of meetings of any public corporations for which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.
It is a rare corporation indeed that makes it's board meeting minutes available to public view. Hundreds of thousands of private (and therefore unavailable for public view) meetings are held every year by various elected officials and appointees, from Congressmen, Senators, Admin. Officials, Judges, and a whole heapin' helpin' of other people, on a huge variety of subjects. Stating that I have done the same and including spooky language to make it sound sinister is childish propoganda with no merit.
