Josak casually leaned against a tree looking over the map that he had found. The mirror he had found with it he had placed in his pocket although he was quite unsure of it's purpose. Pondering over his exact location based on the map, he was distracted by a noise nearby. Standing at the ready and although unarmed, he still was able to protect himself, should it be necessary.
His body relaxed as he realized it was only a young man heading up the path with a bit of difficulty. A little concerned (more so now thanks to his time around Yuuri-heika) about the kid, he made his presence known as he called out to him.
"Oya~ Need a bit of help there, kiddo?"

It was like bouncing, walking outside; he flitted vaguely from one wall to the next, unsure on his feet but blissful in the fresh air. The only splinter in the sunshine was the voice calling out toward him.
He'd been found.
It caught Gilford's breath for a moment, catching his forward motion until he almost overbalanced trying not to move any closer to the strange man just down the way from him.
Mustn't talk to strangers. They would not approve, or worse; they might have sent this person to bring him home again.
Frowning, almost pouting in a distinctly childish way, the young man (if one wanted to be technical) pressed his hand against the side of the nearest building and peered at the person who had addressed him.
"...mustn't," he concluded loudly after a moment's deliberation. "Mustn't talk to strangers."
Josak was a bit concerned as he watched the stranger struggle. He was further taken aback as he loudly made his declaration about strangers. It seemed almost like a small child. Perhaps in this place the people were younger than they looked, opposed to mazoku who were older than they seemed - all when compared to humans.
Regardless, he could understand the hesitation others had when faced with a stranger, as quite often dangers could lie within. However, Josak was beyond talking with strangers. His duties as a spy had him performing various activities with multitudes of strange, and sometimes dangerous, people.
Quick on his feet, Josak said what he could to try and earn the other's trust somewhat. "It's ok, I don't want to hurt you. I just want to help you to wherever you are going. That's all~"
The word brought a soft change to the boy's face, fading away from the pout and into a curiously quiet look. There was a sudden flicker of calculation in his eyes as he tilted his head. One hand brushed in frustration at his long blonde locks, knocking them back from his face as what seemed to be an entirely different part of his brain analyzed the situation.
This person, as a stranger, however repulsive to the younger half of his mind, did not currently seem intent upon bringing him home. There was a chance he didn't even know who they were. That was certainly an interesting possibility. He might never have to go home, if he could use this person to his best advantage.
And, if this person had been sent to bring him back to the basement, Gilford was fairly certain he'd be able to make things red enough without Eliza stopping him this time.
The suspiciously adult look vanished from his face, again replaced with a beaming childish expression, this time more cheerful than concerned.
