i think i tried watching waking life once. but i was sick & took nyquil or something so all the trippy animation started freaking me out & i had to turn it off, haha.

There's lots of cool philosophical insight but you really have to be in the mood to watch it seeing as it's all conversations. Try again some time when you're feeling real smart!

you're the only other person I know that has actually attempted watching waking life, stayed awake 'til the end, and actually enjoyed it.

Yeah, it's one of those movies that I made sure to get after I watched it. Linklater's a real character, but the good kind. I love his movies, even when they just seem to be pseudo-intellectual banter. I mean, even the music in waking life is great.
