I wish I didn't have to make these sorts of posts. I don't mind it, I have such sympathy and sadness for the Hufflepuffs. They are experiencing a loss, and we know how it feels. I think I might join you in praying or hoping for happier days. Because this is just awful, they seem determined to make everyone miserable. I don't want to be miserable any more. I want things to get better. Su-Li wouldn't have wanted us to be miserable, Frantzberger wouldn't have either. So while we can't do anything, hoping might achieve something. I think that people don't put enough stock into hoping and praying. I think it can be a very powerful thing, I think it can achieve so much more than people give it credit for. God says that if you have faith you can move mountains.

I think there's a difference between knowing you can do something, and believing that you can. It's the difference between faith and knowledge. But so many people forgo faith for knowledge. Really it can't be a toss up. You can have both, I don't buy into the whole "Knowledge is the enemy of faith" philosophy. Not at all.
