Is something wrong, ma'am? [Too bad she's still blind or she'd be able to tell who it was, Kaori isn't even aware of how drastically her own appearance has changed. Why was everyone overreacting?]

I suppose...

So... who are you supposed to be?

Ah. Well. They turned me into a lady friend of mine from back home... I guess you could say we were, uh, a little close.

[I slept with her. That probably means something a little extra. :|]

A lady friend... so your lover? [Unless you go sleeping with every other lady out there and feel this way about them. :|]

[V_V]

H-ha, well... kind of. I guess.

[He's not to sure what to define it as. He definitely would have spent his life with her, if circumstances had dealt a kinder hand. Definitely.]

It was a short thing. We parted ways a little while after.

... [You're being looked at rather intently, Wolfwood. Clearly she feels that there was more to it.]

[He feels that 'jiiiiii' going on there.

He just sighs.]

I broke a pretty important promise to her. Forgiveness wasn't really an option, at the time-so we separated.

... Breaking a promise can mean death in my world. [Which was why people rarely made them, much less if they didn't think they could keep them.]

[Ohhh, a way to divert the subject to her! 8D

He laughs a small, humorless laugh.]

Your world sounds pretty dangerous.

[Then again, my world was a lot like that.]

[Wolfwood you sly old man, don't think she doesn't notice that laugh. :T] I'd say it's the people trying to get into it who are more dangerous than the actual native residents.

[hey. HEY.

I am not old.]

Really? Sounds a little like home, for me. There are always bandits and jerks running a-muck on the innocent townsfolk. It's just awful to see a town plagued by bastards.

[Which is why I shoot them up. :Db]

[For someone who doesn't expect to live past twenty, you are OLD.

... Very old.]

Do you do something about it, or are you a damsel-in-distress?

I've never been a fan of letting someone like that push me around, no. But I am a humble preacherman-I just have to show them a little bit of mercy, for them to get the idea and tuck tail.

You're a preacher? And your world's residents have tails? [Can be very gullible sometimes, this one.]

Ahaha-the tails thing is a saying, actually. But yeah, I'm what you'd call a preacher; not many seem to know what that is, so far... so color me surprised.

I've heard of them in other worlds, but I don't think they're common in mine. Religious stuff is left to each clan's Heir.
