Dream § 1 [Public]
Two puppets are fighting: one is Estelle, her strings leading to the hands of a group of old men, the other is a young man, his strings held by faceless Imperial Knights. Both puppet are forced to fight and all Estelle wants to do is to shout that she doesn’t want to fight.
But then Flynn shows up with a huge pair of scissors and he cuts both of the puppets strings. Estelle falls lifeless on the floor. She is happy to be freed and all she wants to do is smile but her puppet face won’t let her.
It doesn’t take long until Estelle is picked by Yuri and he starts to waltz with her. But with each turn, Estelle gains the use of her body and soon enough she can smile, even if she’s still a puppet. All she wants to do is laugh, but there’s no sound that comes out her mouth.
Soon, someone cuts in and Estelle founds herself dancing with Luke. The moment their hands touch, fabric turns into fair skin and Estelle can feel life run through her veins. She’s still smiling and as they turn faster, Estelle can hear the sound of laughter, hers mixed with his.
[wakes up in the courthouse and she looks outside and sighs] It's still raining.......
