[Kazuma been mostly staying in his room today and reading a few books he had picked up yesterday...after being forced into a snowball fight.

He pauses from his reading at some point and stares at the back of his door when he hears Litchi coughing on the other side of it. It's been like this most of the morning now...maybe he should actually get up and make sure everything's ok. He puts down his book and quietly opens the door to see if Litchi was there. Not seeing her, he moves towards the kitchen where he could hear some sounds from there.

He sees her in the kitchen, but he won't address himself right then. Just observing her for now.]

[Litchi doesn't even notice Kazuma for a few moments, absorbed as she is in making her tea and trying to be quiet about it. But once she finishes it, she turns around to head back to her room, and stops when she spots him.

Guilt.]

Oh, Kazuma, I'm sorry... I didn't wake you, did I?

[He shakes his head.]

No, I was just reading...How are you feeling?

Not very well, I'm afraid. [She might have tried to lie with "I'm fine" if she wasn't sure he hasn't already seen her coughing so much.] It's most likely just a cold, though.

...Right. [Even if was a cold, he was a little concern for her. Being sick is never fun, he'd know] Is there anything I can do to help?

You already did, picking up that tea for me before. [Though her smile is weak, it's still a smile.] Aside from that, all I ask is that you try not to catch this.

[He returns with a sheepish smile himself.]

I probably will anyway, but I'll try not to. [It still felt a little strange to be getting compliments like this, but it wasn't a bad thing.]

You should probably go back to bed, Miss Litchi. I think everyone here can handle things for a while and if you need something just let us know.

[She may be sick, but Litchi can still fret.]

I'll be sure to get some rest, but please promise me you'll eat an orange or two. It should help keep you from catching anything.

Um, okay I promise. [He still doesn't think it'll really matter, but...he doesn't quite want to see the wrath of Litchi.]

[Welp. A bit too late for those oranges, isn't it? Shaking her head and trying not to smile, Litchi gestures to Kazuma to follow her into the kitchen.]

Maybe I had better make some tea for you as well, hm?

Ah...maybe. I'm sorry, it's probably not from you, but from playing in the snow yesterday.

[Not in trouble, no. Litchi is just gathering up the kettle and bringing it back to a boil - shouldn't take long - and getting another cup ready with the same herbal blend she made for herself.]

I've heard there's been several snowball fights... I take it one of those caught you?

Yes...they wanted me to play with them, even when I said I didn't want to.
