ooc: after This, this, this, this, this, this and this. It starts with a phone call. Harry's number flashes on his caller ID and he is surprised. It's not like he and Harry are phone buddies. When the news came over the tv, Fred wasn't moving. She'd been at the office, mulling over some paperwork and the news was just on in the background. Absolute silence never worked well with her productivity. But all of that went out the window when the word of the bombing flashed on the screen and the names of several of the injured or dead ( ... )

They didn't want too many people in with Kara at once. So after he had his visit with her, and Alan showed up he took a break to give them time to talk. Addie was asleep and Harry looked halfway there himself, so Angel chose to wait in the private waiting room. He figured if Fred, Cordy or anyone else coming to check on Kara arrived, they would end up here and he could catch them up ( ... )

"Of course, I wouldn't be anywhere else," she says easily and honestly. For Angel, for Kara, for the kids and Harry. All of them. She listens, trying to take in all that he's saying about how they're doing and she nods when he's finished.

"I heard that they weren't in as much danger as when they were first brought in. I'm so glad to hear they're doing better."

The room looked guarded by security when she glanced down the hallway and it was probably a good thing considering how high profile their family was. Looking at Angel again, she lays a hand on top of his arm. He looked like he was about to jump out of his own skin. "How are you doing? Have you been able to see her yet?"

He felt like he was going to jump out of his own skin. It was hard to swallow down all the rage that was boiling beneath his skin. His family had been attacked, and he wanted nothing more than to rip the heads off those who were responsible. He'd heard enough grief from the other victims too. A woman lost the baby she was carrying and her other child that had been at Cupcakes. A man lost his wife. Another family was waiting while their loved one went through her second surgery. So much loss ( ... )
