Any time now, the doe-eyed girl would be coming around to Cal's room so that he could, as promised, show her all about DVDs and how they worked, which, hopefully, would lead to the reasonable after effect of watching a movie together. Hayley knocked on Cal's door, bouncing a little in excitement. She wore a long black skirt with a green plaid shirt, having decided to go with her own clothes rather than any of Elle's for today.

"Ready or not, I'm here!" she announced.

"Good thing I'm ready, then," Cal called back, even if a break-neck churning in his stomach reminded him that maybe he really wasn't. Maybe he should have eased into the calm pool instead of jumping into rapids like it felt like he'd been doing these last few days. But he was already there; the only thing left to do was be swept by the current.

So he went to the door and opened it. "Ready to be wowed by modern technology?" he asked.

"What, you?" Cal asked wryly. "Never. You must really be excited then." He stepped back, opening the door and gesturing her in with an inviting sweep of his arm. "So this is my room. That side's all Merlin's; that one's mine. And I wasn't sure what you might like to watch, so I got a few options..."
