Can we really never go home?

Is there no hope for it at all?

I keep hearing different things...

I just want to know for sure. One way or the other.

I would like to know too. If ... If I am never going to go home, then I would like to know so that I can be confident in setting down new roots. If I will never see home again, I want to make a new home.

I do not know what would be the most prudent decision. I worry that if I do make a home here, then I will end up sad if I do go home ... but If I am never going to go home, then it would be terrible to hold onto that hope and not make any real bonds with new friends here.
