Okay, good thing about tonight: movie night with Jack and Allie. Time to relax, eat some food (or drink some TruBlood, look, Kaidan didn't want to-- well, this needed to go right.) and watch some decent movies. That was a good thing. That very idea - and the amount of time he'd put into setting it all up - that was good

"Are we really doing a vampire movie night?" Jack asked, emptying about half a bag of chips onto his little plate. "I mean, I'm game for it, but don't be surprised if I spend part of the film cursing at the screen."

"Especially if anyone sparkles," Allie added. "I'd also say if anyone's obnoxiously dramatic. But then I think about some of the vampires I've met and yeah, that one's actually true sometimes."

"Look, I wish I had something better than this," Kaidan said apologetically. He picked the first DVD off the stack. "But Fandom keeps interfering. So-- sorry."

He shot them a wry look. "You get first pick. To, uh, make up for it."

"Gee, thanks," Jack said, stepping back from the stack. "I say it's Allie's pick. Ladies first and all."
