[rl - meeting Bella]

It was increasingly difficult to do anything unobserved these days, especially since the animal virus caused him to seemingly drop off the face of the Order. Still, there were a few times when Link left him alone. Fortunately today's lunch was one of them. Allen would surely be stopped if he tried to leave the cafeteria on his own, but for now it ( Read more... )

Living at the Headquarters for what had only been a few days, since the virus ended, Bella had begun to see that not all was right here. She wasn't exactly sure of the specifics, but it seemed like people were in trouble here. Everyone was under watch. And that meant Bella now too.

So far she had managed to avoid many questions from the Guards, but she was worried they would start keeping an eye on her as well since she had been caught in Cross' room the first night she was here and then found wandering the halls and directed to Klaud's room. And really, the only straight answer she got from Cross was that he wanted Klaud to teach her about the Dark Order and the Exorcists.

Finding the Cafeteria fairly easily, Bella came in and ordered herself a meal. It didn't take long to spot Allen, he stood out amongst the others. She took her food and went to sit next to him, attempting to not draw attention.

"Hello Allen," She said, smiling at him.

"Bella, hi!" He tried to keep his voice low enough not to be overheard, but his enthusiasm couldn't be kept out of his voice. Aside from Arche, this was the first time he'd been able to meet someone from the community face to face. Bella didn't look any different than what he'd expected from her icons, but it still took a few moments to get used to be able to talk to her like this.

He set the bowl he'd just finished aside. "I hope Master hasn't been giving you trouble..."

Allen really was young from what Bella could see. Real young to be in a war. But he was so cheerful and sweet. Bella hoped nothing happened to him to shatter that innocence. She would hate for this war to ruin him.

"He's Cross," She said with a smile while taking a bite of her food. That statement alone explained everything.

"I'm fine, though. How have you been doing?" She asked him.

"Then that's a yes," Allen sighed. "I'm all right, though. Fairly busy, since we're still working on moving everything in."

Indeed, some parts of the building still looked more oppressively bare than a stone building should, and there was scaffolding up in a corner of the dining hall.
