Anyone heard from Broklehurst or Styles lately? I know it's their honeymoon, but it's not like them to be away from society for too long. Unless, of course, they've decided to live in bed, in which case I do not want to know

They are rather quiet these days, but I have no illusions as to whether the peace would last. However, I would like to invite you to work with me in the police force, if you wish to.

Peace doesn't usually last very long anywhere, and considering the type of people who seem to be preferred by this place it's even more unlikely.

That was my intention, and I would be pleased to do so as soon as possible.

Intelligence, if by that you mean crime investigation on a more technical level than just pounding the beat. However, I have training and experience in the more physical side of police work as well. I assume you read my application, but I could provide a more extensive resume if necessary.
