On a "Date-Not-Date" with Roxas ((Locked to auxiliary_key))

Racing through the front door, Axel makes a strange hop-skip move as he attempts to slow his previous break neck pace down to a walk, the soles of his boots making squeaking noises as he makes his way across the wood floor. It takes a few moments for the infamous black, shadowy portal to appear in a corner of the room, and a few instants longer before the teenager appears, head first. The quickly disappearing portal barely ejects him, rather forcefully I might add, before dematerializing. Roxas falls flat on his face on Axel's carpet, a limb occasionally twitching.

"Mmmph! Mahhff-ol! Melf!"

Axel immediately bursts out in laughter at the sight of twitching Roxas. Obviously, the two hadn't spent enough time explaining portal travel and how to prolong its existence.

He manages to reduce his laughs into chuckles before walking over to Roxas' slumped figure, reaching down with an arm to try and help haul the blonde up. Couldn't have him lying face down on the floor now. After all, Axel couldn't remember the last time he had cleaned it.

"I'd have to give that a nine-point-five, at least. The curved swan dive at the end was pulled off flawlessly, Ro-xas. Had to shave off the point-five for the nose landing, though," Axel squeezed out between chuckles.

Roxas scowls as he uses Axel's arm to pull himself up, sweeping some imaginary (or maybe not) dust off of his clothing.

"Shut it, Axel. 'Sides, it was your fault I fell. I hurried because you sounded almost desperate."

He crosses his arms indignantly, leering.

Axel also helps with the sweeping of not so imaginary dust, perhaps lingering in certain areas for longer than necessary.

"Desperate," Axel repeats with humor. "It's not my fault if you can't even interpret an emergency call from a 'Hey, let's hang out' call. You know, we've got to work on that."

After a few more brushes for good measure, Axel smiles winningly at Roxas and announces, "Let's paint the town red!"
