Entropy

Dig a hole
Cut out the clay
refine it
work it over
mix it
pug it
put it in a mould
dry it
fire it
transport it
build a house with it
knock the house over/renovate
transport it
crush it
line a driveway with it......

Amazing....
So much energy to produce a thing, only to destroy it, when for a very minor (probably equivalent to crushing) expenditure of energy, the ( Read more... )

I always think of entropy as the Universe trying to cover all bases at once.

That makes more sense.
I've always considered entropy to be the mechanism through which High-Intrinsic energy things move to a Low-Intrinsic energy state.
I often confuse what I'm saying with efficiency.
