nope all on my time....

Was fencing in another 1/8th of an acre of scrub on the other side of mary's house, and was finishing up the electric fence to the new wire fence, which meant I had to spend an hour or so in the fenced area.

Winston (the billy goat=ball of hormones with horns mounted on the front) was out and about and got really agitated by my presence.

I had a handful of electric fence posts (basially 900mm of fibreglass with a 4 inch stainless steel spike at the bottom) in my hand when he charged me, and drov one of them into my leg, and me down the hill about 30m. Never fell over, but pulled up when we got to a tree.

locked him against my thigh and locked his horns offside so he couldn't move and yoinked the posts elsewhere, then hauled him back to the barn.

Finished the fence and surveyed the damage. Then spent the requisite 4 1/2 hours in A&E.

Sigh....

Take a perfectly useful leg. Add a dash of perfectly useful fencing apparatus, at an inappropriate orientation.

Somewhat unnecessary learning experience, p'raps?
