coffee making fail

Put the percolater on the stove and went and sat down with my brunch. Heard a clatter and a thump and a crash. Went out to the kitchen. Walls, Ceiling, doors, table in the next room, all covered in coffee grounds.

Sigh.

not entirely sure myself, but the thread is entirely stripped out, and all of the filtration sections are bent completely out of shape.

Multiple handles, and cooked a unit to death.

Most recently I snapped a handle off one. BAH. Must get another for festival.
