I...I was just wondering if um...you know there's going to be a Policeman's ball and well...officers need a um...a date and...I...

[For Estelle comes a package wrapped in blue velvet and a bouquet of red roses wrapped in red ribbon. The Christmas card tells nothing but the name of the sender -- Vincent, and a passionless seasonal greeting that is the staple of all store-bought greeting cards.

Within the package, there is a pair of ornate white opera gloves lined with silver decor, tastefully chosen and most probably custom-ordered. There is also a small, silver pendant, a small silver star dangling from its chain links.

He wishes you a very merry Christmas.]

[Estelle opens the greeting card after smelling the roses. A small frown creases on her forehead: isn't he the man Dominic warned her about? She has met him only a few times too; he's not someone she would have expected receiving a Christmas gift from.

Still the gift is beautiful and she's very grateful for it so she calls Vincent to thank him]
