Summer drags out and, in a real fit of cruelty, the nice old escort took me off the beach duty for missing those appointments the other day. No more tanning for me, I get to embark on the wonders of local parks, where mosquitoes roam more freely than cows in a cheesy wrangler movie. Anyone know a good elixir or something for bug bites? Mmm, bugs ARE a problem. Hydrocortisone cream, according to this source, is good for long-lasting itch relief. They also recommend permethrin to help prevent bug bites.
