Sam has returned to Bete Noire with some shiny new powers, among which is the reading of auras. This tells him if a person has any supernatural abilities (or not), whether they have traveled between realities (or not), whether they are other than human and, in the case of Bete Noire, how much the city has corrupted them ( Read more... )

May Sam read polarisation's aura? Go right on ahead.
If no, why?
If yes, what (if any) supernatural abilities does your character have? This is hard to explain. See here!
Is your character a human? Werewolf, but only in-game. His ability is genetic.
How much have they been corrupted by Bete Noire? A decent amount, although it's mostly in the depression direction and actually breaking his vow to avoid people.

May Sam read eternityunseen's aura? Maaaybe?
If no, why? Zachary has the soul of a goddess. If this is too strong to be read, then let's go with that.
If yes, what (if any) supernatural abilities does your character have? Again, I'll just do the linkage thing. It's complicated.
Is your character a human? Vampire (in-game), with a goddess soul.
How much have they been corrupted by Bete Noire? Not a lot, but there is definitely taint there.

May Sam read greever's aura? Another maybe!
If no, why? Chris is canonically immune to empaths due to a magic potion he drank - except that extreme emotions can still break through that. I don't know if that applies here.
If ( ... )

May Sam read you character's aura? FO SHO.
If no, why? n/a
If yes, what (if any) supernatural abilities does your character have? She can stop time for herself and turn it back in 30-day increments. She can also store stuff in an extradimensional pocket, is exceptionally resilient, and has a certain set of sort of standard superpowers. She's... sort of traveled between realities? In that she's been in at least twelve different timelines of the same month, which are technically canon AU of each other.
Is your character a human? That's up for debate. She doesn't consider herself human anymore; she's more akin to a lich in that her soul is stored outside her body, which is abnormally resilient. (In case this matters, her soul is usually on a ring that she wears.)
How much have they been corrupted by Bete Noire? Pff. She was like this before BN.

May Sam read you character's aura? Yes (Jim Kirk, Spike, Dana Scully, Sam Winchester), though Spike's will be harder to read.
If no, why?
If yes, what (if any) supernatural abilities does your character have?
Jim: None
Scully: None
Spike: Mostly heightened senses, strength, speed, etc.
Sam: Latent demon-granted abilities--precognitive dreams/visions, exorcism and other demon-destroying things he doesn't know about. IMO he'd read as human with a sort of taint on him, a darkness that's not necessary evil?
Is your character a human? All but Spike, who is a vampire.
How much have they been corrupted by Bete Noire?
Jim: He's been here the longest, but has a very strong will. His corruption is mostly self-doubt, but he's been affected, yes.
Spike: Not much, as yet. He's already soulless, and his "corruption" has leaned more towards favoring his human qualities.
Scully: Not much!
Sam: Just got here.

May Sam read your character's aura? Sure
If no, why? --
If yes, what (if any) supernatural abilities does your character have? Ichigo is a corrupted ghost in a fake body and he's got a lot of dark power in him.
Is your character a human? No. He's a Hollow (corrupted spirit)
How much have they been corrupted by Bete Noire? Not much. He's good at forcing it away with willpower.
