The Good News:  Mom made it through her hip surgery in July with flying colors; did rehab and physical therapy, was walking good, had been cleared to drive by herself, and last week her doctor declared that her x-rays looked good and that things were A-OK....

The Bad News: Last Sunday (four days ago), Mom rolled over in bed, and dislocated the hip.

Oy. Hope mom recovers without any worst cases rearing their ugly heads.

Is that you, my Moffet?

Just got the call from Dr. Hopkinson -- Mom's out of surgery and in recovery. He re-replaced the hip liner and thinks that will do the trick. She'll be staying over the weekend, with tentative release on Monday or Tuesday. Will know more tonight after I talk with Mom....
