Relationship List

Aug 21, 2005 16:02

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not going to include whoever Raito hasn't met or really interacted with because, hey, I'm trying to keep it somewhat short.
Updated on September 15th.

Wednesday They haven't spoken much, but Raito does think of her as somewhat interesting.

Sokka Raito finds Sokka to be rather amusing. They originally met when Raito was drunk and Sokka managed to kiss him. Raito was vaguely surprised to meet him afterward and had great fun playing upon his insecurities.

Ted 'Theodore' Logan He finds Ted to be an absolute moron.

Buffy Summers Doesn't know her well, but finds her to be one of the saner campers.

Ishida Uryuu Knows Ishida doesn't like him and the feeling is mutual.

Allen Walker Raito is unsure what to make of Allen and is quite wary of him.

Amane Misa Raito's feelings toward Misa have become rather complex. While he continues to manipulate her, he has been trying to protect her. This is partly because he would find it pointless for her to die at CFUD and partly because he knows that it confuses and frustrates Mello and Near to think that she may still have a Death Note. He's treading lightly around her because she might just flip out and kill everyone Ying him. (9/15) Well, Misa up and killed Ying and he's really not too keen on that. During the bodyswitch dance he tried to feel out what she was trying to do next to no real avail. He's still rather worried about her next actions, mainly because the most probable action would be killing him, and he hasn't actually officially broken up with her because he's being a huge wuss due to his concern for his state of being.

Kagami Taro He doesn't think that Taro is all that bright. After all, he knows Taro just killed someone because he had an awful hangover. Raito treads lightly around him, never knowing if Taro still has a note or not.

L This relationship is particularly difficult for Raito. Their "friendship" is rather warped and L's occasional signs of attraction to him both befuddle and irritate Raito. He has no particular desire to kill L while at camp, but L's presence means he must always be on the alert. Since he has died (and risen!), he has become particularly hostile towards L. It doesn't help that attempts for a truce (with Raito requesting a big "Don't Touch Me" as his requirement for acquiescing) inevitably failed. He doesn't like that L had two cohorts at camp that directed his attention elsewhere and particularly disliked that L began to again focus his attention on various investigations. They had seemed to finally reach an understanding (and new heights of UST) the night before L died. And then L died in what Raito considered a spectacularly stupid manner. When L started to reappear, Raito kept a constant opinion of L being infantile and his pestering of Ying to be incredibly irritating. His attempts to meddle in Raito's relationships have left Raito quite glad that he is somewhat dead for the time being. (9/15) L lives! He's still unsure about what to do now that L is, you know, alive. Ying seems to like L a great deal and it would be in Raito's best interest to make peace. They are extremely overdue for a Talk.

Mello Mello tends to grate on Raito far more than Near does. He does not like Mello in the least (and resents his presence immensely) and finds him to be particularly immature. He does his best to ignore Mello while occasionally sniping at him when he's feeling bored or when he believes Mello to have said something stupid.

Near Raito does not like Near, but he does not dislike him to the extent that he does Mello. He finds Near to be relatively rational when operating on his own. Thinks he is a smartass and doesn't like that Near's computer wrote erotica about his person.

Huang Yue Ying If it wasn't obvious before, Raito is very fond of Ying. They met while she was under the influence of the chibi-disease and again when he was looking for some help with fashioning crutches. He found her to be extremely intelligent and felt a definite kinship with her after her death and again after her subsequent reanimation. After meeting her again and again during her unfortunate stream of various camp ailments, he found himself to be developing a distinct liking of her. Though a bit bewildered, he continued to interact on a regular basis with her (despite some supernatural interference) until she received a Death Note and things came to a sharp halt. In a panic, believing her to be relating what he considered to be confidential information back to Mello and Near, he cut off all communications. He was keeping his distance until he found out she was deliberately provoking Misa and they proceeded to... have dinner. Things continued on a neutral course until Raito confessed that he had a rather large crush on her was very fond of her. The fact that she didn't kick him out of Cabin 9 seems to be a positive sign. (9/15) As of now, they are dating. Sort of. Raito's gaining a bit more confidence in this relationship now and his moods have stopped directly fluctuating with hers. She hasn't actually kicked his ass and he's managed to move into her new cabin so all is, relatively, well and good. When they have a chance to talk about non-angsty or upsetting subjects, they have a tendency to talk about bondage. If this relationship ends badly he will probably flip out and kill half the camp in the process.

Honda Tohru Raito finds Tohru to be a sweet girl, if not all that bright. The Death Note fiasco at the wedding has left him rather wary of her even though he knows she cannot do anything to him.

Alphonse Elric He can make dancefloors by clapping his hands. Raito thinks this is rather impressive, even if it was just a dancefloor.

Kira Yamato Suspects Kira to be mind-numbingly stupid. Or secretly brilliant.

Shinn Asuka A former cabinmate, Raito finds him to be a short-tempered moron.

Tom Riddle Not too fond of Riddle, but still rather neutral on the subject.

Shokatsuryou Koumei No idea what to make of Koumei. Ying likes her, but she makes him incredibly uncomfortable.

Wolfram von Bielefield Finding Wolfram to be an endless source of entertainment due to his volatile temper, Raito likes to mock him to relive his own stress. Despite this, they have developed a sort of kinship. (9/15) Wolfram isn't all that happy about the "dating his mother-figure" thing and for something resembling good reason. Raito enjoys this because it makes him easier to provoke and he finds it a shame that Ying has explicitly told him not to do this anymore.

Kudou Kazahaya Raito's not quite sure what Kazahaya can actually do, so he's taking a rather active interest in him. He's starting to realize that he's probably going to need more people on his side at this point.

Hasegawa Chisame Thinks she is sensible and likes her, really dislikes how close she is to Mello and Near.

Hyuuga Neji Thinks Neji is intelligent. Sympathizes.

Uzumaki Naruto [first one] Considers him a moron who cannot detect sarcasm or cook.

Ash Ketchum Cannot understand how Ash manages to survive.

Momoko Hanasaki Likes her, doesn't find her too bright, but appreciates her generosity.

Cal Previously knew of him due to the Cal/L bodyswitch, met him again during the pimp cane confusion. Thought he was a prostitute, apologized and agreed to take him out to dinner. Very wary of Cal's motives.

Urameshi Yuusuke Raito is very unsure of Yuusuke. The fact that he can see shinigami without the aid of the Death Note concerns him and Raito would rather keep him in the dark until he figures out where his loyalties lie.

This list will be updated... whenever. Poke me if I forgot someone, etc etc.
