Congratulations! I think there's a HUGE difference between cleaning houses (or doing any kind of work that is hard work) to get some extra money and having to do it to get money for basics 'cos otherwise there won't be food on the table.
Depending on how much you're paying for the insurance, you may want to keep it. Medicare is free, but using it alone can make it hard to get appointments or procedures in a timely manner. It may be possible to use it as a secondary insurance to cover the copays and out of pocket costs from your first policy. It depends how much your current policy costs, but it might be worth pushing the numbers around a little before you cancel it.

My best friend has huge problems finding Docs that take MedicAid, and only slightly less trouble finding ones that take MediCare.
(Because he was disabled very young, he's got some strange mix of both going on, which makes it even more complicated.)
Neurologists in particular are reluctant to take anything other than insurance or private pay.
