I hate mundane dyes part 2

so here is the color I ended up with... and the picture does not really capture the snot-green tinge of the dead-yellow color that is this yarn now... the little string is cotton that I used to tie the skeins together...
which kinda just pisses me off even more...

so this may sound stupid, and I'm sure the picture isn't very accurate to the color you are looking at or wanted, but I have to say I kinda like the citrus/celery green color. I just made chris a tunic that color, with orange and dark olive trim.

if you feel like trying again, I have onion skins, I have tumeric, I have marigold as well. I am sure you can get something much warmer and more interesting with any one of those. And I am just down the hall...
