When my weaving comes off the loom and tangles, I put the weaving back on the loom as I untangle. I place the band back on the loom, then put each card's worth of threads back on as I untangle, if that makes sense.

makes total sense! and I tried that but the twist at the end kept it all sproingy... I _might_ try untying the whole damn thing and finishing it off loom...
