glass is still magical...
had a super fantastic weekend with justgemma17 and bork107 in Kelowna... despite what both of them say it is hot and rather desert like...
got to play with glass... lots and lots and in many different phases of it!!
plain and round... apparently I have pretty good puckers!!!
after getting beads round I got to play with dots...
green, white, black...
yellow, black, white... main objective, not to make them look like leopard spots or bumblebees...
blue, white, black...
black, red, yellow... red and yellow are an exercise in patience... working them cooler than other colors... and then the waiting for them to come out of the kiln and making sure I didn't cook them to a different color!!
and I tried flowers... which are just dots... so it's still dot practice =)
Dale also got a chance to work at the torch too... here she is with our super amazing teacher!!!
