Job 33:14-17 NLT
14 For God speaks again and again,
though people do not recognize it.
15 He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they lie in their beds.
16 He whispers in their ears
and terrifies them with warnings.
17 He makes them turn from doing wrong;
he keeps them from pride.

Just affirming you in your post about the Lord using dreams to speak to us. In fact, I was very interested in this and did a little bit of research on it and it turns out that in the first two Chapters of the New Testament alone, God uses prophetic dreams FIVE times. (matt 1:20, 2:12, 13, 19, 22)
However, if you were convicted by that verse, who knows ;)

thanks ry ry. that's such a great passage! i've always had crazy intense descriptive dreams and I know God tries to tell me things through them. When i pay attention I understand them and I think it's so fascinating and cool. Thanks for finding me a really upfront verse to back all that up! :)
