[Alice is outside. She had found a package at the mailbox, and upon opening it, stopped at the steps to sit and further examine the contents. It was a worn hardcover copy of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. As she looked it over she saw that it was most definitely her own copy of the book.
