Damn it.
I've been here for months now, and while I've grabbed the opportunities I've found, I'm still not getting the assignments I need.
I just haven't had the chance yet to show off what I can do. Not that the rankings are really that important, but...
I'm an outstanding pilot. I'm letting the reputation of the Fraternity down, this way. If I'd just had a chance to show the higher ups a real victory, then maybe I would have the sort of status I deserve in this organization.
Bad luck, or have I just been too lax?
[Lark can be found outside, practicing some maneuvers with Dix-Neuf; she's controlling it from outside the cockpit, instead standing some distance away and observing while she attempts to keep its movements as rapid and agile as possible.
