Snow for Christmas!

Louisiana does not get much snow. So when we were returning home from New Orleans on Christmas Day, it was quite a trip. Interstate 10 was closed, so had to take the old highway to Baton Rouge, US 61. Sleet most of the way, but about halfway, the sleet quit and we were then driving through sowfall. Pretty cool. Never saw a Magnolia tree with snow

ooh! DVD players are great. i am currently trying to replace all of my VHS tapes with DVDs. i still have like 40 tapes to replace though...lol.

yeah - i had to move my office, and now i am in a space where other people can see everything i am writing...i have no privacy whatrver - unlike my previous space, where i had some privacy, and some walls....

i am so screwed for that right now...

but, i will make do for a while, and eventually i hope to have a laptop and some DSL, so i can post and comment from the privacy of my cute little Bostonian apartment...:)

I have a pretty good work arrangement right now. Small office, and in a corner. lol

BTW, South Beach really works. I took off about 10 lbs in the 2 week initial period...

Haven't really gained it back, either.
