To be completely honest, I've enjoyed Britta's character on the show after they stopped boxing her into the "reluctant love interest" role. But this story is what got me to love her. Thank you so much for this.

I missed this the first time around, but I have to say that this is such a perfect, perfect fic. The way that everything unfolds, the way Britta reacts, the way she is able to deal with it, Jeff, all of it. Perfect. Thank you for writing this.

Wow, why don't you have a thousand comments on this brilliant genius fic? Dude, you made me cry at work. Your Britta is perfect, and I love how Jeff talks to her at the end, and everybody else feels real too. I feel so horrible for Britta though, poor darling. Great fic.

Later that night, as she stares into the empty vodka bottle, she wonders if it’s sad that she thinks it’s awesome that nobody knows anything is wrong.

So deliciously Britta. This whole thing is, really, but I particularly loved that line, and later the bit where Jeff is talking to her. I love when they interact as friends.
