Not to mention there's sadly a dearth of Simon/Nathan (or fic in general, FFF-) in the fandom, so seeing a new multi-part one excites me! ♥ I'm really interested in seeing how Nathan will react to it.

The next installment will be in the next two days! I've written it, I just need to go over it again and find the time to put it up everywhere. *g*

As for finding it compelling, I can relate. I gravitate towards those stories not because they're 'so much fun,' but because they resonate with something inside of me. :) So you're not alone!
