My esteemed colleagues;

It might be much of me to assume that all of us had at least some blood on our hands yesterday if we were cursed, and as the City intended, I have had time to reflect upon it. I myself was drenched; I do believe I'll have to have that coat of mine that I prize so much dry cleaned. Such a hassle, but a small price to pay for the insight I gained from it.

It is interesting to me that the first thought that wandered into my head when this curse began was why there was not more? Why there was only a trickle of blood-not a river. Why there weren't torrents and torrents of fluid running through my apartment and down the hall. It seemed a shame that there was only this much, and it made me wonder if I had gone amiss in my duties. Had I truly forgotten my very purpose in this life?

I realized that I had forgotten what was most important to me and my goals. Destruction. The kind that instills fear, that create cries for justice, that cause wars and give men the power they crave. The power that corrupts their very souls and turns them against others in that quest for more power...ah, forgive my nostalgia. It was these thoughts that reminded me of better times; of times where there were things to be done and battles to be watched, rather than to sit aside in this dull City and hold the guise of a priest.

There was talk, at one point, of destroying something vital to the City. An orphanage, a hospital, or something else perhaps? Something that would cry outrage; something that would set the City into a stir, that would make them cry out for justice and vengeance.

Where has this talk gone? What plans set created were abruptly tossed away and discarded? It's a shame to let such work go to waste; instead, let us find meaning for that work. My colleagues, planning from the shadows only has so much merit. Sitting and watching and biding our time is an idea for the short term, not the long. Have we not waited long enough?

The time is approaching-we should prepare for it accordingly. These curses may wreak daily havoc, but not enough to truly satisfy. It is high time we throw this City back into despair; to be the cause of that destruction and terror on the faces and in the hearts of many. The brilliance of the City-wide poisonings caused me to believe that this group of clever minds have the ability to do more than just bide their time, but have the ability to create a cunning masterpiece. I do hope I can be proved right in the future.

With utmost sincerity,
Eversor
