I'm not appalled at all. How is this any different from a statue of an angel over a grave? Or an anchor? Or a cross? This is just another example in a long LONG line of people turning grave markers into art. And I think it's gorgeous.

And by way of disclaimer, I fully intended to be appalled... and I still want to be creamated or buried in a cardboard box.

I think it's lovely. And I insist upon a black marble sarcophagus flanked by white marble sphinxes. And it should be the BIGGEST grave in the graveyard.

Come to think of it, I should probably start training some infants to grow up to be my professional mourners...
