About that bike -- if you get a chance at any point, why not come help me with it?

Rockman didn't even bother to respond, showing up immediately with a grin on his face. Homework could be finished later.

Aile already had everything set up for him when he got there, parts strewn all over and the bike itself resting on a platform in the center of the room. "Hey!"

Remember, not your bike, he had to tell himself as he took account of the all the parts. "So! What do you need me to do?"

"Uh, well -- let's start with boosting the speed, okay? I got a few extra parts to replace in the engine, okay? Then we got the shield..." She walked over and indicated each component as she talked.

Hey, Rockman would protest that he was going at a perfectly reasonable pace....then would speed up anyway at the thought of getting to ride longer.

That would get a giggle out of her, but she'd shove down the impulse to bug him and start speeding up herself.

She could always bug him later after all.

"All. Most. Done." He held one piece in place as he reached for something to connect it....only to find that his arm wouldn't go that far. He made a few swipes at it, making a frustrated sound as he did.

She couldn't help chuckling a little, but she hooked the last cable in on her end and moved over next to him. "Need a hand?"
