"Shut up and leave me alone!" Aile flinched away from the man with the soothing voice, grabbing models Z and X and running for the door.

"Just don't talk to me." She muttered, turning the knob and walking out. She was shaking as she walked out. "This isn't gonna work."

He winced when he saw Aile come out shaking. That things wouldn't go well was expected, but he'd hoped things would go better. Stuffing the book he'd been reading in his bookbag and slinging that over a shoulder, Rockman hurried after her. He didn't say anything, not even once he caught up, only quietly followed behind.

She grabbed his shoulder suddenly, still wordless.

After pulling him in, she let out a simple noise, pure frustration.

"I know. I'm sorry," was all he could think to say. What else could he say?

"I quit. They don't know what they're doing, why should I bother keeping up with this?"
