Get your cap
Mine came from: http://public.fotki.com/nopeekiepeekie/
And crop it to 100 x 100


Sharpen the base and then smooth out the subjects skin
(settings: Hardness 50 Step 25 Density 100 Thickness 100 Rotation 0 Opacity 40)
Then duplicate the base and set to screen (play with the Opacity, make multiple layers if needed)
*Mines set to screen 100


Merge the layers and duplicate set to Soft light


Fill with #091627 set to Exclusion
Fill with #ecfaf7 set to Burn


Make a Hue/Saturation Layer (play around with the amounts to fit your image)
(for this icon it was set Master 45 Cyan 20 Blue 20)


Duplicate the base and drag to the top and set to soft light


Merge all and go back over the skin with the smooth tool if needed
Next I duplicated the image and arranged the copies the way I wanted them to be


I desiderated one of the copies and in a layer between the two images made a white box


Merge and rotate image 90 degrees right and add text in Georgia 8 point font(leading 1.000 kerning 100 tracking .099) I put the line ‘The Jackal Assassin of the Internet’
Merge and rotate image 90 degrees left
Your done
