rofl, circuit city is worse. Oh god don't get me started.
You're probably better off replacing the part yourself. It won't be free, but it will save you a lot of time.

GAH CIRCUIT CITY ASDFGHJKL I know what you mean.
They went ahead and pitched my laptop and gave me a new one. This is all well and good, but... Now that $350 warranty is toast. So now this one is uninsured.
I'm just pouty because I only had the thing for a month. :[
