Appearance: For all intents and purposes, Lockon looks fairly similar to her male counterpart. She only reaches about 5'7" in height, with the characteristic pale Irish skin that burns easily and never tans, much to her dismay. Despite the fact that her brunette
hair hangs down to a little past her shoulders, she almost never ties it back unless absolutely necessary, mostly because when she is shooting, she has her helmet on, and that keeps her hair out of her face. A couple strands of hair hang in front of her face, but not enough to obscure her blue-green eyes. When not in her flight suit (Which she will testify is fairly skintight and a nice shade of green to compliment her eyes), her usual outfit would consist of a green tank top, reddish vest with cream-colored fur trim along the collar, navy blue jeans, and calf-high boots.
Personality: Lockon is very much the older-sister figure to the other Meisters. She usually tends to give out advice and is always trying to cheer up the others if necessary. Calm and collected most of the time, it can be said that Lockon's the most laid-back out of the four. She exudes an aura of confidence and is probably one of the best people to come to if someone ever needs a shoulder to cry on. She usually also ends up being the mediator during any arguments between the Meisters, trying to make sure that the others get along well.

Despite the fact that she's so easygoing, though, Lockon firmly follows the codes and conducts of Celestial Being, even going as far
to punch Setsuna after a mission when she exited her Gundam's cockpit in the middle of a battle. Also, when under an extremely stressful situation or the mention of terrorists are involved, especially those that try and harm civilians, a side of Lockon that is rarely seen comes to surface: a side driven by revenge for the family she lost; a side that wants to stop terrorism in order to prevent another catastrophe. She becomes reckless and impulsive in this state, doing whatever she can to stop them. This can be considered to be her "true" personality, while the smiling, older-sister side is a mere facade.
She tries to distance herself, but being around the others...it's turned out to be quite different.

Abilities/Strengths: Lockon takes her abilities as a sniper seriously, being able to snipe targets from great distances with little to no problems. In or out of her Gundam, she's proven to be a deadly shot with a sniper rifle, and even a regular handgun. Also, she seems to be the emotional pillar for the group, lending support, a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen to. Also notable is that she's probably one of the best mobile suit pilots out of the group, although this will probably hold little standing in Template itself.

Weaknesses: Simply put, short-range combat. Despite the fact that she does know how to defend herself, she does a better job of it if she can get some distance between herself and her opponent. And despite the fact that she's an amazing sniper, Lockon has trouble firing on moving targets, especially if they're more agile than she expects. Psychologically, she will almost snap if she hears about terrorists, especially if they've harmed civilians. She even went as far as to nearly kill Setsuna after learning her involvement in her family's death, and was reckless enough to go after Ali when she found out that she was in the area, which ultimately lead to her death.
History: Lockon Stratos was actually born Nell Dylandy, the older twin to Lyra Dylandy. The two lived fairly normal lives with their parents in Template, Ireland, despite the continuing war that was raging around them. When Nell and Lyra were about five, their
younger brother, Andrew, was born.

However, everything changed when the twins were 14. While the family was shopping, Nell and Lyra were separated from the rest of their family. This chance incident happened to have saved both their lives, because the building that her parents and younger brother were passing was blown up in a terrorist bombing later to be discovered to have been instigated by the KPSA. In one day, the twins found that they were basically alone in the world.

For reasons unknown, however, Nell and Lyra went their separate ways, more than likely because of Nell's near-obsession with finding out who exactly performed the bombing, while Lyra was more focused on the future and earning a new life.

Eventually, Nell was recruited by Celestial Being to become a Gundam Meister, and underwent intense training in order to fulfill her new role. Although she never really admitted it until later, the main reason why she decided to go along with the organization was to prevent any more terrorist attacks like that tragic day. Being the oldest and most experienced pilot within the new generation, it was
almost natural that Nell (Now codenamed "Lockon Stratos") would lead the group. And despite the initial conflicts that happened between herself and her teammates, she was more than happy to work with them, not knowing that a member of the very group that had killed her family was working alongside her.

Eventually, in a confrontation with the Trinity siblings, Lockon found out about Setsuna's involvement in her family's death, and when they returned to the island base, she pulled a gun on Setsuna while Tieria watched, angry and frustrated that she had been working alongside someone like that all this time. Setsuna never denied any of it, telling Lockon that if she killed her, to fight for the future in her place. However, she never actually shoots Setsuna, only firing at the air next to her.

A few weeks later, when Celestial Being was being attacked and Veda had cut off the power to the Gundams, the action put Tieria into such a shock that even after the backup systems were put into place, Nadleeh wasn't responding. In order to prevent Tieria from being killed, Lockon rushed into the line of fire from Patricia Colasour's beam saber, taking the hit. The injury reports said that she would've only needed three weeks to recover fully, but she didn't care, she knew that she needed to fight, despite the injury being to her dominant eye. Thanks to Haro, though, she was able to make up for the margin of error for the most part.

However, during one of the UN's joint strikes against the Ptolemios, Lockon launches off with the GN Arms, taking out two of the three container ships before being back-attacked by none other than the former leader of the KPSA and Setsuna's mortal enemy- Ali Saachez. To be quite honest, though, Ali was the main reason why Lockon decided to head out in the first place. Although she was standing her ground quite well despite her injuries, a kamikaze attack by one of the Union soldiers caught her off-guard, and Ali used that and moved into Lockon's blind spot, using the stolen Gundam Throne Zwei's Fangs to attack Dynames, taking out its limbs. Lockon jettisoned out of Dynames, attaching his sniper module to the GN Arms, firing simultaneously with Ali, both women aiming to take the other out. Unfortunately, the explosion from Ali's cannon hitting the GN Arms caused a massive explosion, shattering Lockon's helmet. Her last motion was to point at the Earth and curse its current state, muttering "the world of tomorrow will be one where Lyra will live."
