I'm in Japan right now, and I am AMAZED at how much mori no ike has helped me. I can actually carry on (limited) conversations with people, and I understand what all the Japanese people are saying about me when I walk away! Yep. I got the scholarship. I am the NC winner of the Japan US senate youth exchange. In Tokyo I will be greated by Japanese officials. I will buy pocky. It will be good.

Finally, after years of typing it into my browser with no hope of finding an actual site, someone made "jewgle.com".

I'm enjoying myself immensley, and I've already seen chinatown, the village, and queens. Tonight I'm going to broadway to see Spamalot (and meet the actors backstage!), and when I get back I'll show all of you the things I bought around. I think I'm cold, but I can't tell. I know that something big has happened, but it still feels like nothing has changed. But I'm shaking.
