Susie had done some asking to find out where exactly Calvin was supposed to be living, but it turned out that she didn't need directions after all.

She could just follow the familiar ruckus.

"Motion to censure the First Tiger on grounds of being a traitor to the cause!" Calvin yelled as he flailed his fists wildly at Hobbes.

Hobbes, meanwhile, was doing his best to sit on Calvin's head. "Denied."

Some part of Susie was well aware that she shouldn't find the sight of Calvin fighting a losing battle with a stuffed tiger to be both normal and familiar, but she'd passed the point of no return a long time ago.

So instead she was just going to lean in the doorway and watch until Calvin noticed her.

Calvin's voice was somewhat muffled as he retorted with "And as Dictator For Life, I'm revoking your right to vote on the matter!"

Somehow he managed to wriggle out from under Hobbes and was about to pounce on him when he realised they were being watched.
