Break Man and Archer teleported to the apartment from the Nexus, specifically Break Man's room. "There. Now there's less ears to hear any admissions."

"Considering what you've told me," Archer said while blinking rapidly, he's not used to teleporting. "You already admitted something big back there."

Break Man shrugged and sat down on the bed. "It's not really a secret. Just something I haven't told Ash yet."

Archer remains standing, for now. "Yeah, so why haven't you? That predjudice thing you mentioned, or those issues?"

"The issues stem from the predjudice thing," Break Man replied quietly. "She started out hating me because I was a Protoman, even though I didn't do anything to hurt her, just bugged her a lot. After we became friends, things were okay, until it started getting deeper. And I heard her tell one of my alternates that she didn't like the idea of her alternate losing her virginity to a Protoman. So...that and I'm an 'it' to her when she talks to a couple people."

Break Man looked over when Ash came in. "Call him off or something!"

Archer just takes his chance and goes for the headlock. "Tell you tin-plated boyfriend to answer my question, oh and hullo!"

Ash isn't quite sure what to say, since, yanno, she thought everyone from her world was gone for good.

Break Man blinked at the term "boyfriend", distracted enough to be grabbed. "Ack! Leggo!"

"Answer the question. How long have you two been dating," Archer then grins and whispers. "Or else I'll tell her what you told me in the Nexus."

Ash makes an odd noise in the back of her throat. "C-could you two stop, please?"

"Other than wanting to pound your brother?" Break Man replied, trying not to sound as annoyed as he felt.

Ash shakes her head and goes to sit on the bed. "No, I mean what is the something you don't want to talk about?"

Dammit. Break Man made a mental note to kill Archer...or throw him to the Darkloids. He sat on the foot of his bed, fiddling with his scarf. Finally, he said quietly, "I think...I love you."

Ash just looks at Break Man when he says those three words, and she just doesn't know what to say. She does bring her knees up to her chest and wraps her arms around her legs.
