Saw 'Prisoner of Azkaban'. So, why do people are so obsessed with Lupin/Black? They do nothing for me. They are ugly (yes, I said the 'u' word). Yes, I read the book, but even then it actually never occured to me that they should be lovers O.o Maybe my slashdar is completely broken. I blame it on Draco and Harry and Snape and Lucius omg.

It's subtle, really, but it's the whole thing with them being schoolboys, and their somewhat opposed personalities, and the reunion hug, and the fact that they give Harry a joint Christmas gift, and that they generally act like a married couple in the way they snark at each other. People who prefer fanfic about the older characters rather than the kids usually prefer Remus/Sirius. :)

Some people write fabulous Remus/Sirius, not all angsty going-to-die, it just depends, you know? I particularly like it when it's well done because they are exactly my age.
