But for the work I've taken on...

So, we lost the homecomming game. At least we managed to score some points, unlike last year. We truely have a Charlie Brown football team. Or I'm just a terrible fair-weather fan. Probably both ( Read more... )

LEVEL 1 LICENSE!?!

Canada is very unreliable when it comes to things like Driver's Licenses. I can only get my beginners after turning 16, reading the manuel and taking a very long and complicated test.

At 14 and 9 months you can start class for your level 1 license (class is three weeks). At the end you take a pretty easy test, then you get your Level 1 which lets you drive if you have a licenced adult in the front seat. Then at 16 you take a refresher class and then your driver's test. I think you get a level 2 restricted (no driving after midnight and before 3am) until you turn 18 where as you get a level 3. At 21 you get a regular old licence. The first three are odd-looking so it makes it easy to tell that you can't buy alcohol.

And then you drive in my school parking lot and think, "Hmmm, maybe this isn't such a good idea."

Damn, were we ever lucky to have won homecoming last year. Before that, we lost every time. *face/palm*

Hehehe, I always get in free for the homecoming game, since I perform during halftime. :)

I can't wait until homecoming now. Ours is going to be Halloween-themed, so naturally it's much later :/

And I never knew that driving license rules varied so much from state to state! I think here you get the real thing at 18, and before that you have a permit that allows you to drive with your parent. Or something. I'm not exactly sure.

You probably looked more gorgeous than you think, too. Everyone's dresses sound very pretty. Our homecoming dance started about an hour ago; I just didn't go. That's awesome that you had fun at yours, though!

Congratulations on your license. :D
