the porch adjoining my room overlooks a patio behind one of the fraternity houses. the weather is nice lately; i like to do homework out there. you can't see people on the porch from the courtyard. it is fascinating the conversations that go on between the brothers when they forget they're being overheard.

wow...another 4:40 am friday morning. what a change from last week. october continues to progress.

still going well. i really love october.

october has started out very, very well. september didn't end too badly either.

this morning, it is autumn, and i'm happy

i spent most of my hurricane day moving into a new room. it's only down the hall a bit from the old one, but i'm really excited about it. i have to share.

Pinehurst Cottage was one of the first three buildings completed through donations by Frances Knowles when the college opened in 1885. It is the only original building left on campus today. ( Read more... )
