Earlier in the day, Sparkle had been promised free food. Well, 'free,' if 'free' meant 'in exchange for a CD of opera music Sparkle had picked up weeks ago,' anyhow. Either way, who was he to turn down food?

He'd even decided to behave himself tonight, leaving his backpack in his room. It was a sign for just how much he respected Karina.

He wasn't planning on making off with any of her stuff, see? And he even had the CD in hand when he knocked on her door.

"Someone ask for a fabulous dinner guest tonight?"

"I do like fabulousness," she said, closing out of the forums and sitting up to grin at him. "And you seem the fit the bill, good sir. Are you free tonight, or did you have other plans?"
