The hat really wasn't his style, okay? It was one thing to be a wizard for Halloween-- It was a totally different thing to be Dumbledore.

Who, Sparkle supposed while he leaned down to thoughtfully chew on the hat, had probably at least been hot and kickass once.

He looked up at her again with the hat in his mouth, giving his tail a wag. See? He'd gotten it. He was a good boy!

Karina snapped a few more pictures with her phone. It was almost habit at this point.

"You are the cutest," she told him, reaching out to pet his silly little head. "I still wish you'd wear the hat though."

Sparkle was going to put serious consideration into that. Right after he was finished fixing the hat! Fixing it! With... his teeth. He was a good fixer! Rrrr! Rrrrrrr!

"Rrrrrtaketha--"

Actually, that hat didn't taste so great, after all. He was going to just... kind of... spit that back out, now.

She’d been in the middle of taking another picture when he’d changed back. So now she had a picture of naked Sparkle with a wizard hat in his mouth on her phone.

Karina blinked, blinked again, and then as everything added up and she fully grasped the situation, she flung a pillow at him. “Oh my god! Sparkle!”

It was hard to say whether she was more surprised he’d changed back, irritated that he’d changed back when there were still costumes for him to wear, or mortified that he was naked.
