Quick and dirty update

Adrienne called Sunday night. How chill was our 1.5 hour chat about … strawberries and Moby-Dick, which I can't believe I waited until I was twenty to read. I'm really enjoying it. EVEN THE RAMBLY CHAPTERS.

Dude! Moby-Dick indeed! I can't believe I'm 31 and I haven't read it! I'm happy you're still enjoying it. It was so good to talk to you. Just finished the last of the strawberries today that I didn't freeze and they were still delish.

I want to make a t-shirt to support you in your muddish run.

Um, stop being so anemic. You need to find some things to intake that increase your iron level. I hear Total cereal has iron filings in it. Take a magnet over the flakes and see, IDK.

I do believe that Kayla (Essenmacher) Samuels is participating as well. Mud runs look fun, but I'm not quite into getting ridiculously dirty. I'll run WET, like, in pouring rain, but I don't know how much I like dirt yet.

I'm in the 10th week of a 26 week marathon training program. I have 24 weeks left before my race, which gives me time to repeat weeks if I don't feel ready to move on.

And I drink enough coffee and eat enough bran that I should probably be taking iron supplements, too. Maybe that would make my body happier about this whole running thing!
