I saw that you'd mentioned that! I was excited for it, too. Damn, wish it hadn't turned out to be a dud. :/

I think you'd like this one. It's surprisingly good.

Maybe. Representation in film is up my alley.

Book talk is always OK!

Unfortunately, this is the first lesbian or otherwise queer-woman nonfiction that hasn't utterly disappointed me.

This book has so much yo dawg potential. It begins with writings by a Jewish lesbian mother and her Jewish lesbian daughter.

Do you actively seek out people who know what intersectionality means, with whom to surround yourself?
No, I scream and run away from them. Especially if all the other words in their sentences have approximately seven syllables.

Do you want to learn more or anything about women, feminism(s), Judaism(s), or lesbian community; or do you want to stuff your personal library full of books about them?
My personal library is already full of books about them. Even though I sold back most of the ones from my brief misdirection as a Women's Studies major.

Do you ever get bored and wish you had something to read?
Of course not, that's why Al Gore invented the internet.

Do you appreciate when a book is twenty years old and keeps current?
Only if "keeping it current" makes it BETTER. As opposed to, say, giving cell phones and internet access to the Babysitters' Club.

Do you read books only halfway through when you decide to post reviews on them to your respective blogs? No ( ... )
